i heard back from my editor. she tells me i have done a much better job with this re write, but need to change two scenes. first, the herione can only sleep with one guy, not two, and no spanking scenes.
in real life, spanking has honestly never done a thing for me. and most spankers, that i have met anyway which is admitedly not many, kinda get hung up on spanking and don't want to do a whole lot else.
so, two rewrites already, and i guess the editor has read it. hearing the good feedback makes it worth re writing the book. yes it took a lot of time and effort, which could have been spent writing another book, or as readers of the blog will testify working on the ol' typos, but i wan to grow as a writer, and showing improvement makes it worth it, especially if i don't write long sentences like this one anymore, because this is almost an entire paragraph long.
started a new book, of course, just becuase...i'm an idiot. it's my old excuse, i love it, it works for me. becuase i didn'thave enough halfbooks lying around, okay? so the new one is a woman who marries a vampire over the internet, and gets horrbile advice. it's a comdey, because I like being funny and hopefully am.

okay, i always say the first sentence, well almost always, and i need to work on the second.
oh big news. piers anthony has a website that lists tons of publishers, and gives some advice on which are good or bad. check it out, want to be romance writers. and no, i didn't provide a link becuase he is a famous author. learn to use a search engine. oh fine.
